People Who Didn't Quite Master Laundry

Doing laundry is a basic, necessary life skill, that clearly not everyone has been blessed with. People have shared pictures of their laundry nightmares, and it makes you wonder just how hard these people were trying to get it wrong. I mean, surely it's just a matter of putting the clothes in the washing machine, pressing a button and letting it do its thing? Clearly I'm missing something because these fails prove otherwise.
